Ground up mixed use development with 110 apartment units over 3,500 s.f. commercial space with 125 parking stalls on two subterranean levels. This project is on a very tight urban infill site and will be constructed adjacent to two pre-existing developments. The site is across from the Los Angeles Convention Center and is designed with beautifully articulated metal façade and projected balconies. Construction to begin Summer 2015.

Key Accomplishments:
  • Implemented RFP for construction to five General Contractors, reviewed qualifications and advised the Owner to select successful bidder
  • Negotiated GMP AIA construction agreement
  • Led Contractor-Owner-Architect coordination meetings tracking critical path action items
  • Reviewed alternate materials for exterior cladding, windows, lighting and plumbing fixtures to reduce cost but maintain design integrity
  • Advised on subcontractor selection after review of bids and qualifications
  • Advised General Contractor with general conditions staffing and mobilization
  • Assisted Owner to obtain insurance coverage and incorporate insurance coverage language into construction agreement
